In a battle, wild and trainer alike, if you loose, Pok?mon do not gain any levels, but if you win, the Pok?mon who were battling at the end (Pok?mon who fainted or were switched out do not gain any levels) will gain a certain amount of levels. Those levels are;
Any Pok?mon holding EXP Share, will have to be in your party and not have fainted to gain points from EXP Share. If they were in battle and got called back or even in the battle at all, they gain double EXP. On here a Pok?mon doesn't hold EXP Share, you do. And all Pok?mon in your party share EXP even if they didn't battle.
Any mods will be putting in how many levels a member has gained at the end of a battle.
As for wild encounters for Pok?mon, it is random, what you run into. The better and detailed your post, the more likely it is to get a rarer Pok?mon. It is only a 1 in 50 percent chance you'll run into a shiny Pok?mon. Do not request for a certian Pok?mon to appear, if you do that Pok?mon will never appear. It is the mods decision not yours what appears.
Fainted Pok?mon may still be caught. The lower the HP, the more likely it is you'll catch it. Fainted Pok?mon will always be caught no matter what.
If all your Pok?mon faint you will be teleported back to the last Pok?mon Center you visited. And if you haven't been to a Pok?mon Center you'll be teleported to your house.
- opponent is three levels or more lower: gains one level
- opponent is two levels lower to two levels higher than your Pok?mon: gain two levels
- If the opponent is three levels or more higher then yours: gains three levels
