OOC: Ok, to you Birdy. And to Goniochrome, no Pokémon don't die, they only faint. The only ones that CAN die would be the player's Pokémon and only if the player agrees. But wild Pok?mon don't die.

The Pidgey got hit by the Charmander's Scratch right after the Growl and was still wincing in pain when an electric attack was shot his way. He squawked in alarm and flapped off a bit to dodge. He was glad when Helios told him to back off. Two against one was not fair. The Charmander didn't need help anyway. He would've left if the Helios and his owner had allowed that to happen and then they wouldn't have been able to catch him. For the sake of something to do until he was knocked out since he doubted he could win, he used Tackle. Level 5 Keen Eye Tackle, Sand Attack 2/21 HP

2/21+1 Defense
Marill couldn't understand it when Missa first tried to force her way into making Pidgey's fight unfair, then returned Lux and sent out a Butterfree instead. Why? Lux was winning, so why switch Pokémon? Even if Lux fainted, it wasn't like he die or anything. It wouldn't be the end of the world; a good night's sleep would have him back to normal, as this was just a friendly wild battle. By switching to another Pokémon, one with full health and all, Marill's chances of winning were exactly zero. She didn't get why Puka was cheering on Beauty; why bother if she was guarunted a win? That just took all the fun and excitement out of a battle, really.
Marill sighed as the Silver Wind struck, not even bothering to dodge because there really was no point. She couldn't be bothered to fight if there was no chance of her winning. She might as well just wonder off and get on with her life, but she could accept loss and wasn't about to stoop to Missa's level and chicken out. She had a lot of anger in her aimed at the girl for making the fight massively unfair, and while before she had thought Missa seemed nice and she wouldn't have minded travelling with her, she now decided that Missa was afraid of losing and would fight unfairly with the excuse that she didn't want to hurt her Pokémon while she remained ignorant to the fact that she was hurting her opponent far more, emotionally as well as physically; Marill was feeling like a great weight of impossibility was on her shoulders, like this could happen any battle and she had no chance of ever winning. No, this was not the sort of trainer she wanted. Charging at Beauty in a brutal, merciless Tackle attack, betrayal, rage and hatred blazed in her eyes.

Relieved that his attempt to leave Puka out of his battle, Helios faced Pidgey. He was using another Tackle attack, but was weak and so his attack would be weaker, as of course would Helios'. The Charmander was aware that Pidgey ha barely any health left, but all the same was worried about this Tackle. True, this probably wouldn't defeat him alone, but what if his next attack missed and he was hit by the bird? What then? He supposed he'd just have to admit that Pidgey was a better fighter than him and congratulate the Flying type when he awoke if he was still around then.
As it was, the Tackle did just manage to hit. Pidgey was lucky there, but it didn't seem to be enough to defeat Helios. There was a lot of desperate, adrenalin-fueled energy in that attack, but the weakness in the bird's tired muscles was apparently too great to manage to form an attack strong enoughto knock away all the golden scaled salamader's remaining health. It did come quite close to achieving a victory for Pidgey, in fact, but Helios caught himself and stumbled clumilsy for a couple of steps before focusing.
"Come on, Helios. Not much longer now. Just another Scratch, that should do it. If Pidgey tries to attack you again, go for it anyway, you can still draw," Logan had barely finished speaking when Helios lunged at Pidgey, racing towards the bird in a finaly attack.

The Scratch did do it. The Pidgey had been surprised and pleased when his attack had worked. He hadn't been expecting it to hit at all since he was so weak. It was a pleasant suprise but a short lived one. He didn't even bother to dodge the Scratch. It took him down in an instant. He hoped that getting Helios so weak before he fainted would prove to the trainer he was good enough to capture. He wouldn't mind going with this one.
